Transformation in Christ

How can a meringue pie lead us to think about how the goodness of God is transforming?

I was making a homemade meringue to top a chocolate pie, and as I watched what began with dingy looking egg whites in the mixer turn into snow-white, shiny goodness, adding sugar little by little as it whirled in the mixer, I was captivated by the awesome transformation! (Seeing this never gets old!) The meringue was used to top the pie, elevating it to something beautiful!

I couldn't help but think of transformation in Christ, how the Holy Spirit transforms us when we allow Him to work in us, stirring up the good things and the gifts within. God created us to be His children, to work His Holy Spirit within us, and then integrate His goodness into everything we do! The results? Something beautiful and good!
