Worship - Drawing Closer

We are created to worship our Maker, God. We are creations of His hands, His breath, and life-giving power. Why would we not choose His path, which is the path of life?

Worship - Drawing Closer.

“O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker." Psalm 95:6

"Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me." John 15:4

Expectant worship comes from deep within the heart and soul. It is a love so deep and intense for the Savior that it cannot be contained. It must be expressed. As followers of Jesus, our worship is a daily lifestyle. It is fully living for Him, trusting Him with great expectation, and spending time in His word and in prayer. It is having a relationship with Him and truly making Him Lord of all.

When we genuinely internalize the awesomeness of God, worshipping Him comes naturally, not as a have-to, but as a want-to and a get-to. It is an opportunity to worship Him. Our faith in God becomes integrated into every area of our life when we understand that living for Him is the act of worship in itself.

Prayer -

Heavenly Father, You are holy, mighty, and awesome! We praise You as creations of Your hands, Your breath, and life-giving power! We worship and adore You! We trust You in all and give You our all with a willing heart, knowing Your path is the gift of life - here and throughout eternity. In the precious name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
